Historical Sites

A collection of remnants from pre 90's Eastern Europe is in the center of Tirana.This installation was designed by Fatos Lubonja and Ardian Isufi, and is entitled ‘Post-bllok” (Checkpoint).

Preza Castle overlooks the village with the the same name and is located on a hilltop.

Roman Road Station of Ad Quintium is located close to Bradashesh village, in the vicinity of the modern city of Elbasan.

The most important monument to visit in Shkodra is the Rozafa Castle, which rises from a rocky hill to the west of Shkodra. The waters of three rivers, Buna, Drini and Kiri, surround it.

The Ancient city of Antigonea which has the status of the Archaeological Park lies on the east side of the Drinos Valley, near the modern day village of Saraqinishtë.

Orikum (Orikos) is today a small coastal town , but with e very rich history . Located in southwest Albania, about 40 km south of the archaeological site of Apollonia.
